Islam larang kebumi jenazah dalam air – Al-Azhar

KAHERAH 3 Mei – Islam menentang pengkebumian di dalam laut selepas pegawai Amerika Syarikat (AS) mengeluarkan kenyataan pemimpin Al-Qaeda, Osama Laden dikebumikan di dalam air, kata jurucakap Universiti Al-Azhar kepada AFP.

"Jika benar mayat itu (Osama) telah dicampak ke dalam air, maka Islam menentang sepenuhnya perkara itu," kata Mahmud Azab yang juga merupakan penasihat Imam Besar Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb.

Katanya, setiap mayat jika menjadi mangsa bunuh atau mati secara semulajadi mesti dihormati. Mayat penganut agama atau tidak, Islam atau Kristian, mesti dihormati.

"Islam hanya membenarkan pengkebumian di dalam tanah kecuali kes yang tidak boleh dielakkan seperti mati lemas," tambahnya.-AFP

Jenazah Osama dikebumi di Laut Arab ikut cara Islam

WASHINGTON 3 Mei - Jenazah pemimpin Al-Qaeda, Osama Laden telah dikebumikan di utara Laut Arab dari atas geladak kapal pengangkut pesawat milik Amerika Syarikat, USS Carl-Vinson selepas dimandikan dan dilaksanakan mengikut cara Islam, kata pegawai pertahanan AS semalam.

"Persediaan untuk pengebumian bermula pukul 0510 GMT EST (12.10 pagi waktu Malaysia) dan berakhir pukul 0600 GMT (1.00 pagi). Jenazah dimandikan dan diletakkan dalam kain putih serta dibungkus dalam beg pemberat.

"Pegawai tentera kemudiannya membaca bacaan agama yang diterjemahkan dalam bahasa Arab oleh penutur asli.

"Selepas selesai bacaan tersebut, jenazah diletakkan di hujung papan datar yang disediakan sebelum dilepaskan ke dalam laut,' kata pegawai terbabit. - Reuters

Syeikh Usamah bin Laden dah meninggal?

Sebahagian kafirin Amerika menyambut gembira di luar White House setelah mendengar berita kematian Sheikh Usamah bin Laden Hafizahullah walaupun kesahihannya masih belum dipastikan.

Capturing or killing bin Laden has more iconic value.

This organisation (Al Qaeda) is more than Bin Laden, it may be symbolised by Bin Laden, but it definitely is more than Bin Laden.

Gaddafi tidak menyerah kalah

MISRATA 26 April – Pemimpin Libya, Muammar Gaddafi terus menjalankan tugasnya seperti biasa hari ini, sehari selepas pejabatnya musnah dibom oleh tentera Pertubuhan Perjanjian Atlantik Utara (NATO) manakala pemberontak di Misrata mendakwa mereka telah berjaya mengusir askar rejim dari bandar ini.

“Pemimpin kami bekerja seperti biasa di Tripoli, dia sangat sihat dan mengetuai perjuangan untuk keamanan dan demokrasi di Libya,” kata jurucakap rejim, Mussa Ibrahim di luar bangunan yang dibom di pekarangan kediaman rasmi Gaddafi, Bab al-Aziziya.

Gaddafi berada di tempat yang selamat dan meneruskan perjuangan untuk menyediakan perkhidmatan, makanan, ubat-ubatan dan bahan bakar untuk rakyat, katanya pada sidang media dihadiri oleh beberapa duta asing.

Sebuah bilik mesyuarat menghadap pejabat Gaddafi rosak teruk dalam pengeboman yang digambarkan oleh NATO di Brussels sebagai ‘serangan tepat’ ke atas sebuah pusat komunikasi awal semalam.

Tiga orang terbunuh manakala 45 lagi cedera termasuk 15 parah dalam serangan udara itu, kata Ibrahim.

Sekurang-kurangnya lima letupan menggegarkan timur Tripoli malam tadi, kata saksi yang tidak dapat mengenal pasti lokasinya dengan tepat.

“Kami mendengar tiga letupan kuat dan melihat api dan kepulan asap dekat kawasan kami,” kata seorang penduduk di Ain Zara, timur Tripoli.

Pemberontak di Misrata, 215 kilometer ke timur Tripoli berkata, mereka telah mengusir askar Gaddafi dari bandar itu setelah dikepung selama lebih tujuh minggu.

Majoriti Rakyat Mesir Ingin Al-Quran Sebagai Pelembagaan Negara

Sebuah bancian yang dilakukan oleh sebuah lembaga yang berpusat di AS, menunjukkan majoriti rakyat Mesir percaya undang-undang di negara mereka mesti mengikut ajaran kitab suci Islam, Al-Quran.

Survei ini mencerminkan perubahan Mesir menuju ke arah 'konservatisme' agama. Hal ini juga menunjukkan rakyat Mesir terbuka untuk masuknya parti-parti berasaskan keagamaan dalam pemerintahan masa depan, walaupun hanya 31 peratus dari mereka bersimpati dengan kelompok "fundamentalis" Muslim.

Hasil bancian yang dikeluarkan Isnin lalu (25/4), datang menjelang pemungutan suara pada September depan - Pilihanraya parlimen pertama sejak pemecatan Presiden Hosni Mubarak pada bulan Februari. Parti-parti Islam diharapkan akan membuat hasil yang signifikan dalam pilihan raya itu.

Bancian berdasarkan wawancara dengan 1,000 orang Mesir, dilakukan oleh Pew Research Center antara 24 Mac hingga April 7. Margin kesalahan plus atau minus sebesar 4 peratus.(fq/ap)

AS: Paderi bakar al-Quran dihukum penjara

DEARBORN, Michigan 23 April - Paderi Amerika Syarikat (AS) yang mencetuskan protes di Afghanistan kerana membakar al-Quran bulan lalu dipenjarakan sementara selepas enggan membayar bon AS$1 (RM3) sebagai janji tidak akan mencetuskan huru-hara.

Keputusan oleh Hakim Mahkamah Daerah Dearborn, Mark Somers terhadap Terry Jones dan rakannya Wayne Sapp itu dibuat semalam selepas juri memutuskan kedua-dua paderi itu 'mungkin akan mencetuskan huru-hara' sekiranya mereka dibenar mengadakan protes di luar sebuah masjid di sini.

Tindakan Jones membakar al-Quran bulan lalu mencetuskan protes ganas di Afghanistan. Paderi kontroversi itu kemudian mengumumkan dia akan mengadakan satu protes di sebuah pusat Islam di sini semalam, namun bantahan itu terbantut ekoran satu prosiding mahkamah.

Juri memutuskan, tindakan Jones sebelum ini merupakan bukti penting yang menyatakan protes di hadapan Pusat Islam Dearborn di sini itu hanya akan mencetuskan keganasan.

Somers kemudian mengarahkan Jones dan Sapp supaya membayar AS$1 (RM3) bagi memastikan dia tidak melanggar ketenteraman awam. Selepas paderi itu enggan berbuat demikian, dia diiringi keluar dari mahkamah oleh polis Dearborn.

Dia bagaimanapun dibebaskan selepas membayar jumlah yang diputuskan hakim.

Paderi tersebut telah memohon permit untuk mengadakan protes di tanah awam berhadapan masjid berkenaan.

Polis tidak meluluskan permohonan itu dan memintanya mengadakan protes tersebut di 'zon hak bebas bersuara' di hadapan sebuah bangunan lain di bandar itu. - Reuters / AP
